For the past 10 years, Lauren has collaborated with young American composers, bringing a broader awareness to audiences of contemporary, romantic new music.

She has premiered new works at noteworthy venues such as Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall and Steinway Hall, as well as in the recording studio. The most recent new work premiered was Patricia Leonard's Demonstrations of Love (Germany, 2009).

Lauren enjoys not only singing and performing classical music, but also jazz and American musical theater.

Recently, she formed a jazz trio with friends Sue Sheehan and Uli Schmoee. In the last six months, they have enjoyed playing gigs such as the Springe Hoffest, Wirtschaftsschau, Deutches Rotes-Kreuz and various private parties.
