JazzAmi
band
wiht Sue Sheehan
and Uli Schmoee
about JazzAmi
One year after meeting at Springe's American coffee bar Key Largo, Sue Sheehan and I began discussing different possibilities of working together. Naturally, our love for American standards continued to make itself known, and we started working on some pieces together. After just one rehearsal, we knew we wanted to form a band - the blending of our voices just clicked! We then found the fun and entertaining drummer Uli Schmoee (Big Band Bad Muender and Hameln Coffee House Jazz Band) and it immediately "worked"! Sue is a singer and trumpeter - a member of "Sudden Flow" as well the Irish Band "Emerald". Jazzami is a mix of songs from classic to jazz to folk and everything in between!

about Clint Edwards
Because Clint and I have known each other since our teens, we have collaborated and learned from each other for many years.
From musical theater in high school, to performing a cabaret together in New York, to performing Clint's stunning Requiem at the famed Carnegie Hall (Weill) and performing Farewell at my last NY recital before I ventured off to Germany....
I look forward to many years ahead working together.
Patricia Leonard

- Demonstrations of Love:
Hope, Falling, Forty Years, Everywhere
about Patricia Leonard
Patricia and I met in Boston at the Boston Conservatory around 1996. When I moved to New York in 2001, I reconnected with her and her wonderful romantic music. After Patricia joint founded the New York Composers' Circle, she asked me to sing her gorgeous piece "Remember Me" at the Inaugural Concert at St. Peter's in New York. The public's reception was fantastic, and we continued collaborating with more pieces. Patricia came to Germany in 2009 to hear the Debut of her moving song cycle "Demonstrations of Love". Additional concerts are being planned for 2010 and 2011.

about James Nathaniel Holland
James and I met through a mutual friend in 2002 as he was completing his opera: "Menkaure".
After it was completed, he asked me to sing the role in the first recording. We had a great time recording the piece and worked again one year later on his next recording: "The One Upstairs".
James has since moved to Costa Rica where he is further composing as well as running his own Bed & Breakfast and organizing concerts.
